winning feels GREAT!!

have u ever won something??? like a quiz, not in school but in events?? well I have!! omg...the feeling is wonderful!!!

haha...just wanted to post this up before my excitement subsides...wakakaka....so happeee~~ *grins*

wow! I just won 50M zeny...wow...so cool..although it is not a lot..but it was tough...haha...
must join events more often...

The Best Bet~

Just finished wathing another Jack Neo show...The Best Bet...this show is not comedy...it's more serious...but interesting...dunno why...aha...but not bad la...a lot of hokkien though...the theme song osso in hokkien...

The story is about gambling and ah longs and friendship...4-D, toto...
3 friends...one "runs" a bak kuh teh shop... notice the inverted commas?? haha...he doesnt run it..he just sits in front of it while his younger sister does the work... the other 2 got fired frm their jobs...very malas to type the whle synopsis...hehe...so I did what I was gud at...and that is to "copy & paste"....wakakaka....

It's everyone's dream in life to strike lottery at least once. For some, it has even become their 'lifetime career' to make this dream come true. Richard (Richard Low), Shun (Christopher Lee) and Huang (Mark Lee) are best of friends in The Best Bet.

Richard, a white-collar executive, aims to be a good father and a good husband. However, indecisive and wimpy, he is easily influenced by the people around him. Chen Liping plays Richard's wife who is extremely meticulous on money matters, especially when it comes to anything that has to do with Shun and Huang. Shun works with Richard in the same company.

Unlike Richard, Shun is ambitious, outspoken and full of ideas. However, persistently down on his luck, Shun seldom succeeds in what he does. Huang owns a Bak Kut Teh stall. A 'super gambler', Huang not only places heavy bets on 4D, he also part-time as a debt collector for the '4D King'. It is his sister, Hui Min (Joanne Peh), who sees to the running of the Bak Kut Teh business.

The Best Bet revolves around Richard, Shun and Huang whose friendships are put to a test when one of them struck 4D and decides to keep the winnings all to himself. What consequences will his choice have on this friendship? A satirical comedy, which explores the greed, deceit and also the triumph of the human spirits, The Best Bet is about the consequence of our choices, and the path it will take us once we cross that threshold.

Not a bad show...I guess I am a fan of Jack Neo's shows...thnks to Vin...my Jack Neo resource..haha...he was the one who introduced Jack Neo...hehehe...

Malaysian Open 2007

Yesterday, I went for the Malaysian Open tournament at the badminton stadium in Cheras...semi-finals...
I must say, watching the tournament there was really different than watching it at home from the tv...the environment was much more fun...and best of all, you don't' have to listen to the lousy commentators...hahaha...

Well, actually the main reason I went to watch the match was to see my favourite player...EMMS!!! she was sososo nice...she said something to me but couldn't really catch it because of her thick accent and she was talking real fast...haha...the only thing I heard was "Your mother......"...then dunno what she said...

I went there with my mom and 2 of her friends...We got to sit in the players seats...cool...cuz we got to sit among the badminton players...got lots of pics with them...couldn't get Gao Ling though, cause she kept saying "after the match"...and yes...after the match...she went back...so I didnt get a picture with her...

but then i got many pictures with the other badminton players...

Have you seen it?? Have you?? The new iphone...so cool...it's my new dream phone...but it will only be on sale in Malaysia errm...i think 2008...so looooonnnggg....it's going to be released in America in June or July..nooo...I want one~~~

It so sleek and sosososo nice....not to mention expensive too...but it is an iPod, iVideo, and a phone ...ALL in 1...

price not available yet...prolly around 1800++ for 4GB and 2500++ for 8GB...that's wat they say...but when it arrives in Malaysia...hopefully the price would go down down down...whee~~

Still on Holiday~~

Still holidaying...kinda bored...everyday watch tv...go on9...check email...listen to songs...WATCHIN ANIMES!!! haha..not so boring after all...hehehehe....

went to college on monday...A-levels and students frm TBS had their orientation...sigh...SAM students...back into class...so no business for me..stayed thr for 2 hours...then balik adey...didnt even sell ONE BOOKS! at least wasnt bored thr...Sue Ann was thr and a few other ppl...opposite the road...can see lotsa ppl selling A-level's bks...but I wont be selling it to the paper lama ppl...wasted la...so I'll just keep it....see who wants it...sigh...

ooo...yesterday watched Ouran again...but only watched 3 dics...that time I sat down...from 2pm till 4pm...then 5pm to 8pm...then continue again at 11pm to 3 2am...watchin anime....8 hours of anime...and i finished the whole season of Shakugan no Shana...in one day...haha...a bit siao...ANIME SPREE~~!!!

shud shud shud shud watch Ouran...its about this host club in a high school ...run by a group of snobbish idiot rich kids ...that's wat the main character,Haruhi, in the anime always say....
but this show is very very VERY dramatic...they over exaggerate...really really...but very funny...laugh non stop...got some heart touching moments osso...a must watch~!

Shakugan no Shana is a bit more to the serious side...but funny osso...a must watch osso...=)

OPEN SHOP!!!

walao...now I know how the people selling stuff in the market feel...especially when there's a nice sun shinning down on you..haha...so hot hot hot! We all sell books until so cham...look like beggars beside the road...

Seriously...we did all we could do...I did..but I still couldn't sell all my books...sob...haihh...got sunburn summore...eee...
ppl all tyring to get customers...at first the books were RM 10 for 1..then RM 8...then 5..then 3... eventually it was buy 1 free 1...really rugi a lot la...the books we all buy were like more than 10 bucks....
but wat to do la...every1 wants to get rid of the books...
the saddest thing was....our Maths text book was WORTHLESS!!! nil!! no money at all...
It was like more than RM 50 ++ for 2nd hand la...but for the others who bought a brand new one...was RM 100++...and now...it is RM0!! sad .... nobody wants it...

look at us...so cham... (but still can smile..hehe...)

Lucky the ATM machine wasn't working...if not...we wouldn't have any shade at all....sure all roasted one...and somehow...there was air-cond or cool air comin out from the ATM machine...haha..so nice...

This was the first day ony...4th of January...I learnt how to be a pasar pagi seller...5th of Jan..I belajar how to "Sou Thong"...dunno how to spell...open shop for 2 or 3 hours...then tutup kedai adey...tak blh tahan...was toooo hot yesterday... my head...got sunburn...my scalp...hangus...cant even comb hair...aaa...so painful...cannot touch...

monday have to go back again....sigh....so sad...who said I didn't have a job?? haha...self employed...

Homerun~~

Just finished watching Homerun...such a nice movie...I really have to salute Jack Neo...so far I watched 2 of his movies and they were GREAT!

This show wasn't as nice as the other movie I watched "I Not Stupid Too"...
Homerun is mainly about this boy Chew Kiat Kun, played by Shawn Lee. He accidentaly lost his sister's ,Seow Fang played by Megan Zheng, shoes while he was collecting rice from a shop...
He couldn't tell his parents about it because they were poor and their parents were hot termpered, like in the other movies Jack Neo did...
Basically the whole show was about Kiat Kun trying to get Seow Fang's shoes...
When Kun returned home, he came up with a plan on how to solve the problem...
Kun share his shoes with his sister, because at school, Seow Fang is in the morning session while Kun is in the afternoon session.

Kun is punished for being repeatedly late for school because he has to wait for Seow Fang to return home and give him her shoes. Seow Fang is also punished by her teacher for wearing the wrong shoes to school. is punished for being repeatedly late for school because he has to wait for Seow Fang to return home and give him her shoes. Kun felt bad as his sister was being punished for his mistakes. So he did so many things just to replace the shoes he lost. He even did homework for his rival Tan Beng Soon played by Joshua Ang and his friends.

Kun also entered a football competition to win a pair of shoes as Beng Soon didnt keep his promise about his sister's shoes. Even in the football comp., they won but Beng Soon did not keep his promise again as the last goal was scored by Beng Soon's own team mate.

Somewhere near the ending, Kiat Kun entered a cross country event as the third prize was a pair of school shoes... Beng Soon was also a participant in this competition.

In the middle of the race, Kun and Beng Soon run into a muddy area, but eventually break free and continue running. Kun appears assured of third place, but trips on a stone and finishes first, with Beng Soon finishing third. Kun offers Beng Soon his medal in exchange for his prize shoes, but in his anger, Beng Soon throws them away.

Mrs Chew, their mother, goes into labour and Seow Fang runs barefoot across a path littered with broken glass to find a midwife . Finally, Mrs Chew gives birth to a healthy little baby, while Beng Soon turns over a new leaf and gives Seow Fang and Kun a new pair of shoes before he travels to study overseas.

And that's the story...Not so nice right? hha...but the show is funny...so shud watch la...
not bad for a Singaporean movie...
